If you're ever wondering what the midway point between Los Angeles and New York City is, it's Wood River, Nebraska. We wanted to meet my brother and his family halfway between the two of us for a long weekend of fun where we each wouldn't have to fly too long. Not wanting to visit Omaha, we decided to meet in the next closest city which is Minneapolis. We also picked a weekend where the Twins were playing the Orioles at Target Field so it was an all around good choice!
